met up with a
fellow zinester yesterday.
got a little bummed out by his 30-year-old broodiness
of 'my 20-year-old-self would be disappointed in my
non-starving-artist self of present' but was very appreciative
of his kind (borrowed) offering of a saddle stapler
(which is apparently nonexistent in the parsons school of design community,
despite their extravagant printing facilities)
so. the news is that i printed the second batch of zines
(this is version 2 and on the inside you can see that it was
edited 2.2.6; i went through it again yesterday and am hoping
that the 3d version will be even more perfect (ie: free from weird spacing
and that misspelling of that as thet ..that probably only i managed to notice.)
but, yeah, these are limited editions, baby, stapled by moi
on my kitchen floor in the east village apartment i'll be leaving all too soon.
i've even sat on most of these to try to make the folding a little more..simple.
so, not only were nails broken and my dna smeared all over these
(i sold one recently to a kid at school with some of my blood on it.
gross.he seemed to dig it.)but my ass has rested on them possibly too.
my loving stalkers and fellow online dating types and other people who
are interested in supporting me/my work and/or the dying art of zine making,
make your purchase here..

ALSO: news about ISSUE 1 of THE SKYE IS FALLING--
because i'm sort of feeling
meh about reprinting it,
what i think i will do (once my schedule frees up) is scan it
and put it up online for your viewing pleasure
on my (hopefully) very soon to-be-launched website.
